PSR MORAD-L is a 2D primary surveillance radar representing the new modernized version of RL4/RL5 airport radar systems. PSR MORAD-L is designed as transportable radar system consisting of antenna unit, operator and equipment room and power supply. A design of the system enables ease of deployment or tear down of radar system.

PSR MORAD-L is intended for air traffic control purposes within the controlled area and TMA of airport. MORAD-L radar can operate:
· on board a vehicle
· located on ground
· with the antenna unit in ground or small tower, and the radar head in a trench or shelter.
The radar head with the radar technician’s console is located in an isothermal, hermetic container equipped with air-conditioning units.
