RADAR PROGRAMME

Radar program focuses on refurbishment and upgrade of older analogue PSR/PAR radars to enable their service life extension, substantial performance improvement and effective co-operation with interfaced advanced systems. Through implementation of advanced electronics and data processing equipment, optionally IFF/SSR equipment they can serve as sources of reliable primary/secondary data. LETVIS EXT/S is a high performance radar processor which transforms primary radar video outputs from any air surveillance radar into high quality digital target reports or track messages suitable for integration into modern control centers. The LETVIS EXT/S is modular in design and can be configured in any combination of primary radar or weather extractor. The system is interfaced to a control and maintenance console to provide real-time PPI and weather information while providing complete system monitoring, maintenance and recording functions. Components: Radar Data Extractor (RDX) - for extraction of digital target information by primary radar video processing Digital Scan Converter (DSC) - for conversion of raw video information to digital form by primary radar video processing and weather channel processing Remote Control and Maintenance software  LETVIS URDI  Universal Radar Data Interface for front radar data processing, PSR/SSR plot correlation, conversion of data formats and protocols, message filtering and coordinate transformation LETVIS OPSI  high performance AMTI signal processing unit MORAD-P is a precision approach radar representing the upgraded version of RP4/RP5 radar systems. MORAD-P is intended for efficient approach control of aircraft at civil/military airports even within adverse weather conditions. MORAD-L is a 2D primary surveillance radar representing the upgraded version of RL4/RL5 radar systems. The upgrade of both radar systems consists in radar overhaul including out-of-date components replacement for advanced ones. Antenna system and transmitter unit are excluded from refurbishment. Supplier guarantees technical specifications and service life for at least 10 years
